Lymington U15 v Sway U15

Lymo Under 15s end League season unbeaten

Sway won the toss and invited Lymo to bat.

Batting proved to be extremely difficult against some excellent Sway bowling on a none too helpful Woodside pitch. Tom Burton 2-9 and Joshua Bailey 4-14 being the pick of the Sway bowling as Lymo limped to 76-9 in their 18 overs, notable knocks of 18 from both Charlie Hampton and Thomas Sykes and 11 from Cam Robertson being the only Lymo batsman to reach double figures

In reply Lymo fielded and bowled outstandingly well, restricting Sway to 45 for 7 in their 18 overs, 7 bowlers took a wicket a piece, none going for double figures, note must be taken of Oscar Cain’s first ever wicket, Cam Robertson’s outstanding catch in the deep of Jude Tollerfield to remove the dangerous Joshua Bailey and an excellent caught and bowled by Jensen Lightfoot

Great to finally play our local rivals this season and on a lovely summer morning
