Three in a row for Lymo U15!
Lymington maintained their winning start to the season against Fawley at the sportsground on Sunday with an excellent all round team performance
Fawley won the toss and elected to bat and made steady progress throughout their innings ending on 114-4 in their allotted 18 overs. Wickets fell to Matt Turbeville (1-15) who took the important wicket of B Parratt (18) well caught by Jude Tollerfield, Louis Tollerfield (1-4), George Gowar (1-18) and Jason Walbank (1-10) with other tidy bowling from Jude Tollerfield and Jonnie Davies making his first start for Lymington keeping the score down.
The reply was always on target, a great opening stand of 70 by Thomas Sykes (41 retired) and Charlie Hampton (18) set the tone and was excellently finished off by Hugo Smith (16 not out) and Jensen Lightfoot (19 not out) sealed the victory, note must be made of the outstanding running between the wickets
