Lymington v Beaulieu

Lymington U11 Development Team 298
Beaulieu 266

Lymington u/11 pair’s team entertained Beaulieu on a sunny Sunday morning at Woodside

Lymington batted first and accumulated 298 for the loss of only 1 wicket. Notable performances from Michael Backer Dirks in his first match scoring 10 and some aggressive hitting by the final pair of Louis Tollerfield 15 and Toby Colmer 3 and with Arthur Mann, Harry Harber and Jakob Thomas stifling the Beaulieu attack manfully in the middle of the innings helping to accumulate the impressive score.

Beaulieu batted well but were always behind the clock thanks to some tight bowling from Alex Van Der Hogan on his debut who bowled exceptionally well and from the wicket takers Louis Tollerfield, Toby Colmer and Jakob Thomas. Finn Walder kept wicket with great aplomb to add to the 5 runs he had scored in the Lymington innings. Beaulieu ended on 266 for the loss of 4 wickets

A thoroughly enjoyable morning in the sunshine, enjoyed by all the players and parents alike and ending with a well-deserved win for Lymington
