Lymington U15’s march on in cup
Lymo travelled to the picturesque Hyde on Sunday with the sun finally beating down.
Lymo batted first and reached 139 for 9 in their allotted 18 overs, this was probably a little below par considering the exceptionally fast outfield and Hyde having only 9 players
Main contributions from Thomas Sykes 43, run out of the last ball and Aaron Jefferies 45 not out who both played with great elegance and flair, Charlie Hampton 19 and Gabriel Flanagan 10 being the other main contributors with the bat.
In reply only Ned Thomas 40 not out and Extras got into double figures. George Gower 1-8, Ethan Perry-West 1-18, Matt Turbeville 1-10, Jude Tollerfield 1-6 and Mason Barrett 1-12 taking the wickets.
The fielding was exceptional on a really difficult Forest outfield exemplified by an outstanding run out by Charlie Hampton
